Why should i consider Heat Recovery to make hot water?

Heat recovery units are an economical way to get a quick return on investment and see immediate savings. Because it is an add-on device and not an entire system, the Enviro-Temp does not require you to replace your existing equipment.

Most commonly used for domestic hot water heating. Enviro-Temp can also be used for hot deck reheat, for humidity control, space heating and swimming pool or spa heating. Fluids other than water can also be heated providing the refrigerant discharge is greater than the fluid temperature.

Enviro-Temp is compatible with most refrigerants including R-22 and ozone friendly R-410A.

How does the Enviro-Temp work?

The Enviro-Temp can be applied to AC's, refrigeration systems, heat pumps and even air compressors. They may be used with air-cooled or water-cooled equipment.

When heating potable water, it also connects to the water heater. The hot refrigerant gas from the AC heats the cool water from the water tank. The hot water continues into the water tank and the cooled refrigerant re-enters the AC. A side-effect of the Enviro-Temp is that it can improve the efficiency and life of your air conditioner or refrigeration system. because the AC compressor doesn't have to work as hard, the AC draws less power, and the work load is reduced resulting in a longer a more efficient compressor life.

Can I really save money?

Absolutley! If you consider that valuable waste heat is actually escaping into the air from your AC or refrigeration system. Enviro-Temp can considerably cut water heating costs. Together with the improved cooling costs, Enviro-Temp can pay for itself in less than one year depending on your location and AC run-time. That is a competetive return on investment.
